Do you ship nationwide?
Yes. All Mulay’s orders are carefully packed in insulated coolers with dry ice to help maintain product quality and freezer integrity during transit.
We currently require a $75 minimum order (approximately 8–9 packages) to ensure products stay properly frozen during shipping.
Pro tip: Stock up and freeze extras for quick, easy meals later.
When will my order ship?
Orders placed by Sunday at 5:00 PM MST ship the following Monday or Tuesday.
Creating an account makes future ordering easier and allows you to track your purchases.

Yes. All products contain pepper, and many varieties include red pepper.
What are your sausage casings made from?
We use natural hog casings.

Storage & Freshness
How long do Mulay’s products last in the freezer?
Unopened product can last over a year in the freezer. For best flavor, we recommend enjoying within 12 months.
How long do Mulay’s products last in the refrigerator?
After thawing:

Where is the expiration date?
Frozen products do not include a traditional expiration date because they are frozen immediately after production.

If purchased refrigerated, your retailer should apply a code-date sticker.
How do I read a Julian Date?
Example: 1337

First digit = last digit of production year (2021 = 1)

Remaining three digits = day of the year produced (337 = December 3)
You can search online for a “Julian date calendar” for quick reference.
Cooking Instructions
Are Mulay’s products fully cooked?
No. All Mulay’s sausage and meatballs are raw except for our Hot Dogs, which are fully cooked.
Cook all products to an internal temperature of 160°F.
Because Mulay’s products are lean and made without fillers, avoid overcooking.
How do I cook Mulay’s meatballs?
Stovetop
Brown meatballs in olive oil over medium heat. Add sauce and simmer 10–15 minutes.
Oven
Place in baking dish with broth or sauce. Cover and bake at 375°F for 25 minutes.
Slow Cooker
Add raw meatballs directly to sauce and cook on low for 3+ hours.
How do I cook sausage links?
Stovetop
Add ½" water and 2 Tbsp oil to pan. Cover and simmer until water evaporates, then brown. Total cook time: 12–15 minutes.
Oven
Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes.
Grill
Grill 12–15 minutes, turning halfway through.
Internal temperature: 160°F.
How do I cook ground sausage?
Stovetop
Cook over medium heat, crumbling as needed (12–15 minutes).
Oven
Bake patties at 400°F for 15 minutes.
Grill
Grill patties 12–15 minutes, turning halfway.
Internal temperature: 160°F.
