Ingredients
- 1 stick of butter - frozen
- 2 t baking powder
- 1 t baking soda
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 cup buttermilk (1 c milk with 1 t lemon juice if you don't have butter milk)
- Sausage Gravy Ingredients
- 1 pkg of Mulay's Breakfast Sausage (Ground)
- 4 T Butter (if needed)
- 1/4 cup of flour
- 3 cups of whole milk
- Salt and Pepper

Directions
Biscuit Instructions
- 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- 2: Add flour to large mixing bowl. Chop butter into tiny pieces and add to flour. Mix together with pastry blender. Make a well in the middle and pour buttermilk into the well. Mix until all is moist. Do not over mix.
- 3: Sprinkle surface with flour. Roll dough out with a rolling pin into a rectangle. Then, fold over in half and roll out again. Repeat until you have completed this step 5 times. Leave dough 1/2" think and cut dough into 3" rounds. Place biscuits on greased pan. Bake for 10 -12 minutes. Remove from oven and place in basket.
- Gravy Ingredients
- 1: Brown sausage in large heavy skillet. If there is not enough grease add butter, stir until melted. Add flour to skillet, mix in well and let brown. Slowly add milk, while stirring. Heat until bubbly and thick. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over hot biscuits.
