How do I cook Mulay’s?

Cooking instructions are on the inside of every package. There are delicious recipes on our website. All products are raw with the exception of our German Franks which are fully cooked. Don't overcook! These are lean products that don't have a lot of fat. Add a little oil to the pan and fry them, put them on the grill, bake them, slow cook in sauce.... there are so many different ways to cook our sausages and meatballs!

How do I cook the meatballs?

Here are the basics. There are many more recipes on our website. For best results thaw Meatballs in refrigerator prior to cooking. Stove Top Fast: In medium sauce pan heat 2 T olive oil and brown meatballs over Medium heat, turning often until brown on all sides. Add your favorite pasta sauce, and gently stir. Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, until everything is hot apx. 10-15 min. Meatball temperature to be 145F. Stove top Slow: In med to large heavy bottomed pot (Med 1 – 2 pkgs, Large 3 + packages meatballs), sauté 1 chopped onion in ¼ c olive oil cook over medium heat until soft. Add 5 cloves garlic mined cook for 1 min more. Add 1 lb. can crushed tomatoes and 1lb can tomato sauce per package of meatballs (more if you want a lot of sauce) Add 2T oregano if desired. Drop in meatballs and simmer on low 2 + hours, stirring occasionally. Crockpot: Add raw meatballs to your favorite tomato sauce or sauce listed above. Cook on low 3 + hours. Yum! Oven: Remove meatballs from pouch and place on coated baking shallow baking dish. Add 1 cup Chicken broth, water, or tomato sauce and cover. Bake in preheated 375F oven on middle rack for 25 min. Cook meatballs to 145F.

How do I cook sausage links? 

Stove Top: Add 1/2" water + 2 T oil to links in small frying pan. Place links in pan and simmer covered over medium heat until water is gone. Remove lid and continue cooking sausage until browned. 12-15 minutes Oven: Place links, patties, or meatballs on coated baking tray. Bake 15 minutes at 400°. Grill: Place links or patties on hot grill and cook, turning ½ way through, apx. 12-15 min. Internal temperature 145°

How do I cook ground sausage?

Stove Top: Add patties or loose ground sausage to hot skillet coated with non-stick spray. Cook over medium heat, flipping or chop to crumble, stirring occasionally, until done. 12-15 minutes. Oven: Place links, patties, or meatballs on coated baking tray. Bake 15 minutes at 400°. Grill: Place links or patties on hot grill and cook, turning ½ way through, Apx. 12-15 min. Internal temperature 145°
